Description: Topics covered include diagnosis of breech presentation, options for management of breech presentation, external cephalic version procedure and risks, recommended criteria for breech delivery, risks of breech delivery, shared decision-making surrounding mode of delivery, use of a decision aid tool, and intrapartum and delivery management for breech presentation.

Speaker: Courtney Olson-Chen, MD, MSCI — Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and maternal-fetal medicine specialist at the University of Rochester Medical Center. She is a member of a team of providers supporting an evidence-based shared decision-making approach to breech deliveries.
